Diana Suarez

Founding Partner

The Connection Catalyst

Diana Suarez is a founding partner of Coaction Collective and a strategic advisor to leaders working to strengthen organizations and the communities they serve. An entrepreneur at heart, Diana has spent her career building programs, partnerships, and leadership networks that help schools, nonprofits, and corporations advance meaningful and sustainable change.

At Coaction Collective, Diana leads national partnerships with school districts, state agencies, nonprofit organizations, and corporate partners. Drawing on her experience as a teacher, program director, facilitator, and organizational leader, she works closely with clients to translate ambitious visions into practical strategies that strengthen relationships, improve systems, and support better outcomes for students, families, and communities. Leaders often find a trusted thought partner in Diana as they navigate complex challenges, helping them design approaches that improve outcomes for their constituents while also prioritizing the happiness, fulfillment, and sustainability of the teams doing the work.

Diana also partners with organizations to design national conferences, leadership retreats, and large-scale convenings, as well as organizational effectiveness trainings that help teams align around shared goals and strengthen their internal culture. A hallmark of her leadership is the long-term partnerships she builds with leaders across sectors who repeatedly turn to her to help design retreats, convenings, and strategic initiatives that move their work forward.

Prior to founding Coaction Collective, Diana served in several leadership roles at the Flamboyan Foundation, most recently as Managing Director of National Partnerships, where she led strategy and expansion for the organization’s national work and built partnerships with districts and nonprofit organizations across the country. Earlier in her career, she taught in dual-language classrooms at DC Public Schools as a Teach For America corps member and also built and operated a small business—experiences that shaped her commitment to both entrepreneurship and public service.

Diana earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Drama from The Catholic University of America.

She splits her time between Washington, DC and the mountains of West Virginia with her husband, his ever-growing library of books, and their spirited rescue pups. Outside of work, Diana’s favorite place to recharge is on a trail, hiking in the woods. Her stepchildren, nieces, and nephews are never far from her mind as she considers how organizations and institutions can better serve the people and communities they aim to support.

If you’re interested in partnering with Coaction Collective, she welcomes the opportunity to connect.
