Reflecting, Reimagining, and Recommitting: Coaction’s 2025 Annual Meeting

The five Coaction Collective co-founders gathered for our 2025 annual meeting—reflecting, dreaming, and planning for another year of impact.

In February 2025, the Coaction Collective team gathered for our annual meeting—a moment to pause, reflect, and plan forward with purpose. Together, we reviewed our collective work from 2024, celebrated milestones, and reconnected with the vision that grounds everything we do: building stronger, more equitable systems of family and community engagement.

Looking back, 2024 was a year of deep partnerships, creative programming, and expansive impact. From district collaborations in Kansas City, DC, and Dallas to statewide partnerships in Colorado and South Dakota, we worked alongside educators and families to create more liberatory, inclusive learning environments.

Our 2024 Year of Impact snapshot captures just a few highlights:

• Coaching and training 120 educators

• Delivering 100+ hours of professional development

• Listening for over 82 hours across communities

• Designing events like the DCPS Family Math Expo

• Leading learning for initiatives like RMFEC

But our annual meeting wasn’t just about celebration—it was also about alignment. We asked hard questions, assessed what’s working (and what isn’t), and recommitted to the practices that keep us grounded: collaboration, reflection, and care. Our team engaged in strategic planning to ensure our 2025 efforts stay aligned with our long-term vision—supporting educators, uplifting families, and nurturing spaces where all voices are valued.

In a time when schools and communities face ongoing challenges, we are choosing resilience. We are choosing community. And we are choosing to keep showing up—with clarity, compassion, and commitment.
