We Meet Districts Where They Are
No two districts face the same challenges, but many are asking similar questions:
How do we build trust with families and communities?
How do we create a shared vision across schools and departments?
How do we gather meaningful feedback and act on what we learn?
How do we move from engagement activities to engagement strategies?
How do we build internal capacity so this work lasts?
Helping districts build stronger connections between schools, families, and communities.
Every district is working to improve student outcomes, strengthen trust, and create meaningful partnerships with families and communities. The challenge isn't knowing these things matter. It's finding the time, capacity, and support to make them happen.
Coaction Collective partners with school districts to design practical solutions that strengthen relationships, build organizational capacity, and create lasting impact.

Partnering with School Districts to Strengthen Engagement & Impact
How We Support School Districts
Listening Tours & Stakeholder Engagement
We help districts understand the experiences of staff, families, students, and community partners through interviews, focus groups, surveys, and listening sessions, turning insights into practical recommendations for action.
Professional Learning & Leadership Development
From district leadership retreats to school-based coaching and workshops, we help educators strengthen family-school partnerships, communication practices, and leadership skills.
Strategic Planning & Capacity Building
We help districts move from isolated engagement activities to a coordinated strategy by aligning priorities, strengthening systems and structures, and creating actionable plans that can be sustained over time.
Event Design & Facilitation
We design and facilitate community conversations, family engagement events, leadership retreats, strategic planning sessions, and large-scale convenings that bring people together around shared goals.
What We Help With
You have the vision. We help make it happen.
Organizations often come to us when:
They have a conference, summit, or convening to plan but limited capacity
Staff are overwhelmed managing logistics instead of focusing on the mission
They want participants to leave energized and ready to act
They need help coordinating speakers, sessions, and event flow
They want clear feedback and documentation after the event

Featured District Partnerships
27J Schools
CoCo conducted a district-wide listening tour that included focus groups, interviews, and stakeholder feedback across multiple schools. The process surfaced key themes around communication, trust, family engagement, and instructional priorities, resulting in recommendations that informed district planning and decision-making.
DC Public Schools
CoCo built and continues to manage the Scholar Ambassador Program, a leadership development initiative for scholarship recipients. The team designed the peer cohort structure, developed the Executive Board model, created onboarding systems, and facilitates Peer Owned Dialogue groups that connect upperclassmen with incoming scholars through mentorship and leadership development.
