Through a partnership with the Rocky Mountain Family Engagement Center (RMFEC), we’ve supported statewide efforts in Colorado to strengthen family-school partnerships at the district and school levels. Funded by a federal grant, this work included:
Designing and launching a statewide Family-School Partnership Cohort (FSPC) to build school-based capacity
Creating customizable professional development for family-facing staff
Developing onboarding and support for school leaders to embed family engagement into strategic planning
In partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools (Maryland), we facilitated listening sessions in response to a community petition. Families and community members came together to share perspectives on renaming schools originally named after Confederate generals.
In Dallas Independent School District , we partner with the Office of Family and Community Engagement to provide coaching and training that strengthens staff capacity and deepens community connection.
In Rapid City Area Schools (South Dakota), we led community feedback sessions to support the district’s Voluntary Resolution Agreement with the Office of Civil Rights, part of a broader effort to address disparities in outcomes for Native American students.
